Tom Holland Shares Release Date of his Non-Alcoholic Beer Line “Bero”

Tom Holland, the beloved star of Spider-Man, has taken a big step beyond Hollywood by diving into the non-alcoholic beverage scene.

On Sunday, October 13, the 28-year-old actor surprised fans by revealing his new venture: Bero, a non-alcoholic beer brand set to launch on October 16, 2024.

The announcement comes over a year after Holland opened up about his own personal journey to sobriety, marking this move as both a business venture and a personal mission.

Tom Holland is, so far, the second actor to launch a line of non-alcoholic beer behind Dax Shepard of Ted Segers.

The Story Behind Bero

Tom Holland’s path to sobriety began in January 2022 when he initially committed to a “Dry January” as a short-term challenge. However, as the weeks went on, it became clear to him that sobriety brought about life-changing benefits.

In an interview earlier this year, he shared how it helped him sleep better, think more clearly, and approach stressful situations with a calmness he hadn’t experienced before. “Six months into sobriety, I realized I was the happiest I had ever been,” he reflected.

This shift in Holland’s lifestyle naturally evolved into his desire to create something that echoed his newfound balance and joy. With Bero, he aims to offer an inclusive, alcohol-free option for those who want to enjoy the taste and experience of beer, but without the effects of alcohol.

In a post on Instagram where Holland announced Bero, he was pictured sipping from a branded beer glass while holding a can. The image encapsulated the brand’s easy-going yet sophisticated vibe.

Though details are still sparse, Holland has revealed that Bero will offer three different varieties described as “equally familiar and completely new.”

The official Instagram for Bero Brewing hints at athletic undertones, with Holland playing golf in one of the promotional videos, and there is speculation about a possible collaboration with Zendaya, Holland’s co-star and rumored partner, who is shown holding a Bero can in a tennis-themed post.

Bero: What We Know So Far

  • Release Date: Bero is set to hit the market on October 16, 2024.
  • Product Line: Three unique brews will be available in green, red, and white cans, promising flavors that are both “familiar and new.”
  • Branding: Bero’s logo is a stripped-down coat of arms featuring a fish, which could be a nod to Holland’s love of fishing. This natural, active branding resonates with the ethos of many non-alcoholic beverages that emphasize a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

According to Holland, the idea behind Bero is to offer an alternative for people who want to enjoy a sophisticated beverage without compromising their commitment to sobriety or wellness.

“This journey has been deeply personal to me,”

Holland shared.

“With Bero, we wanted to craft an alternative that brings all the flavor and sophistication of the best craft beverages, while offering something that fits into every moment.”

The Rising Trend of Non-Alcoholic Beverages

Tom Holland’s Bero joins a growing trend in the non-alcoholic beverage market, which has seen a surge in recent years. Once a niche segment, non-alcoholic drinks are now projected to reach over $700 million in value within the next decade. Celebrity-driven brands have played a significant role in popularizing alcohol-free alternatives, with stars like Lewis Hamilton (Almave non-alcoholic tequila), Katy Perry (De Soi aperitifs), and Bella Hadid (Kin Euphorics botanical seltzers) all launching their own lines.

What makes Bero unique, however, is that it is one of the first celebrity-endorsed brands dedicated solely to non-alcoholic beer. Holland’s venture not only adds credibility to this growing industry but also signals a shift in how non-alcoholic beer is perceived, positioning it as a desirable and sophisticated option for a wider audience.
