Hi Libra friends!
This week we are celebrating our THIRD birthday! Here is a super exciting recap of all that we have accomplished throughout the past year.
We made a limited release beer and went on tour with Serena Ryder!
As part of our Balance Ambassador partnership with Canadian musician Serena Ryder, we teamed up to celebrate two years of artistic collaboration with a unique brew. Our Lavender Sage Cream Ale was crafted with her favourite flavours and inspired by her creativity. It is a soulful and artisanal masterpiece. With hints of honey and an autumnal essence, it offers a gentle and satisfying finish. Stay tuned for a 2023 release of this brew coming soon!
Teamed up with some of our favourite Balance Ambassadors!
From Some Good Clean Fun with Sarah Kate, to whipping up Libra and food pairings with Andy Hay of Andy’s East Coast Kitchen, to learning about balance with Steff Sullivan and Jay Dearborn, Libra is building an incredible community of ambassadors who love Libra and have embraced it as part of their wellness journey!
Won SEVEN beer awards!
Once again, Libra was a hit in several major beer competitions. 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze awards were received at the New York International Beer Competition. 1 Silver and 1 Bronze were awarded from the World Beer Awards (Canada). And finally, 1 Bronze from the Best of Craft Beer Awards. This now totals 14 amazing awards for Libra, with many more to come!
Grew our distribution nationwide!
In addition to our many current online and in-store retail partners, we are now even more widely available across Canada. Watch for your favourite Libra beers in more Sobeys and Loblaws locations in your province. And be sure to pick up a few 4-packs to share with your friends at your next social gathering!

As Libra continues to grow, while remaining true to our motto of helping you to “Find Your Balance”, we have brought on 5 incredible people who are committed to the collective journey. Please join us in welcoming Devin McGee – Key Account Manager, Chantelle Stone-McConachie – Operations Manager, Kaitlyn Scott – Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Mandy Schnurr – Community Manager, and Tyler Bradley – Finance Manager.

Partnered with some great Canadian brands!
Teaming up with other awesome brands from Canada allowed us to do some sweet giveaways for our community. From Cows Creamery, to Chilly Moose, to Piquette Zero from Benjamin Bridge, we love to share the love!
And last but certainly not least, we partnered with and supported over 50 community events across Canada!
We were the official NA sponsor of Ottawa Bluesfest for the second year, we supported Harvest Music Festival, and the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Ride to Conquer Cancer / Walk to Conquer Cancer. We donated our beer to the Charlottetown Film Festival and Somersault series of events. We showed up in communities and shared Libra through sampling at CHFA Vancouver and Toronto. Being a part of communities across Canada is at the heart of what we do, and we can’t wait to share with you in 2024!
